Note from Cindy and call your veterinarian if you mix drugs. It is unlikely that a veterinarian told her to combine these two.

This is the website of Deramaxx:

"Can you Deramaxx tablets with other medicines?

DERAMAXX tablets should not be administered with other anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or corticosteroids (eg aspirin, carprofen, etodolac, prednisone). Tell your veterinarian about all medicines that you have your dog in the past and all medications that you have decided to give tablets given DERAMAXX. These include drugs that you can buy without prescription and nutritional supplements. Your veterinarian may wish to evaluate potential interactions with other drugs and to ensure the compatibility of drugs. "
